Welcome to the reception, nØllan!

Dear newly admitted students of KTH Kista,

Welcome to an exciting new chapter of your life! We are thrilled to have you here with us.

As you embark on this remarkable adventure, we want to extend our warmest greetings and introduce you to Kista, KTH even Stockholm for some of you!

A common misunderstanding is that the reception aims to make fun of the new students, and while this may have been true back in the days it is certainly not the case in the present day and age.

The reception is three weeks filled with fun activities for you to partake in as much or as little as you wish (even though we obviously want you to be here all the time!). Together with the chapter's committees we organize a bunch of events which you can read more about here.

The reception is not just a mere welcome, but a gateway to endless possibilities, connections, and memorable experiences that will define your time at KTH Kista and possibly your future career.

The reception is planned and executed by The Reception Committee, which consists of the president, INGEN; the vice president, NÅGON; who lead a team of what we call MUX's. We ensure that things operate smoothly and that you have as fun as possible.

The people who will be your best friends during the reception (except from each other of course) are called Fadder. They are here to assist you in navigating your first weeks here at KTH Kista. Feel free to approach both Fadder and MUX with any questions or concerns you may have — no inquiry is too small or too big.

Lastly, as you embrace this exciting phase of your life, remember to find a healthy balance between your studies and personal well-being. There are times when you will feel like it is all falling apart and your studies are taking a turn for the worse. It is at those points you have to remember the fact that we are all in this together, and we are sure that you will come to find that we have a wonderful community here at KTH Kista due to us being quite secluded out here.

Once again, we extend our warmest welcome to you, dear students, as you embark on this incredible journey at KTH Kista. Embrace the opportunities, forge new connections, and let your curiosity guide you towards new horizons. We are confident that your time here will be transformative, empowering you to make a lasting impact in the world.
